This Personal Code of Ethics is designed to guide myself to act in ways that align with my values and morals. I can look back at each element to help me approach a situation in an appropriate manner and take the necessary steps to make the right decision.

1. I will be honest and transparent. With the best interests of the public and organization in mind, I will adhere to the highest standard of accuracy and truth.

2. I will treat others with respect. It is essential to treat others the way you want to be treated, no matter the circumstance.

3. I will be fair and equitable. Each person has different circumstances, and I will work to allocate the resources needed to reach an equal outcome. Everyone deserves to be treated without favoritism and discrimination.

4. I will be dedicated to continuous growth. It is my intention to continue learning and growing as an individual and a professional. I will listen to feedback and become a better person.

5. I will hold myself accountable. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. The one thing that will set me apart is my response. I will take responsibility for my actions to ensure I maintain positive relationships with others.

6. I will show gratitude. I did not get where I am today all by myself. I will continuously recognize those who guided, pushed and helped me get to the position I am in now.  

7. I will honor my promises and commitments. Loyalty and trustworthiness are important in all aspects of professional and personal life.
